Finally, in Lake Mary, north of Orlando, on I-4, there is the jewel of the courses of that area, Timacuan Golf Club, indigenous name of a tribe of Seminoles that inhabited that area until not long ago. It is an 18-hole course and more than 7,000 yards from the championship tee, although you can play it shorter since you have five sets of tees at each hole. The flagship hole of this course is a par 3 of more than 200 yards with an island-type green surrounded by a giant bunker that goes from the tee, until it surrounds the green.
