Here we present three alternatives if you ask what to do in orlando
when you visit orlando.
POINTE ORLANDO AT INTERNATIONAL DRIVE.
On the busy International Drive is Pointe Orlando, a complex of restaurants,
pubs, shops, entertainment and nightlife. All strategically located around a
garden with palm trees and fountains, which makes it a quiet place to spend the
day and night.
Pointe Orlando comes alive at night with its impressive IMAX theater complex,
live music bars and the famous Improv Comedy Club. Most restaurants in Pointe
Orlando open around noon and continue to serve during the evening until 9 or 10
at night. The gastronomic offer at Pointe Orlando is international, including
seafood, sushi (Japanese), and the best of Greek, Italian and Mexican cuisine.
Another favorite attraction for the family is Wonderworks, an amusement
park covered with more than 100 exhibits, attractions, and games for children,
all in a building that looks like a house upside down. For shopping, although
the offer is lower than at nearby outlets on International Drive, you will find
some of the most recognized brands.
DOWNTOWN ORLANDO.
Wall Street Plaza is one of the 'GO-TO' places in downtown Orlando.
Bars, pubs and clubs from wall to wall, many of which are places to eat during
the day until the crowds arrive at night.
Wall Street Plaza, right in the heart of downtown, offers a more
"local" experience compared to other nightlife areas in Orlando, as
it is the area preferred by the inhabitants of this region, especially young
people. This entertainment complex promises a fun mix of relaxed restaurants,
lively bars and nightclubs. Wall Street Plaza, with its outdoor plaza, is also
the epicenter of many Downtown parties, such as New Year's Eve, St. Patrick's
Day, Halloween and some local events such as RumFest, Florida Music Fest, and
City Skip Day.
UNIVERSAL CITY WALK.
Universal Orlando Resort's City Walk is a great place to eat, drink,
shop and have fun. City Walk has something for everyone with all kinds of
cuisine that you can think of and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
It is located just before the entrance to the Universal theme parks. Some of
the highlights of City Walk include the largest Hard Rock Café in the world and
the restaurant of the famous chef Emeril Lagasse. But there is also a wide
variety of foods for all tastes, including Mexican, sushi, pizza, hot dogs,
sandwiches, and barbecue.
Children will also be happy with the number of theme restaurants to
enjoy their food, such as the NBA atmosphere. The complex has a minigolf out of
this world that will keep you entertained for hours. It is also a good place to
look for a souvenir of your visit orlando. Access to the entire
area is completely free, although if you go in your car you must pay for
parking.
So, you already know what to do in orlando during the
nights on your next vacation.
